You may have spent years learning how to give love — to your partner, your children, your friends, and your work. But somewhere along the way, a quieter question got lost: are you letting any of it in for yourself? If you’ve ever wanted to learn to love yourself, this course is designed to help you build that foundation.
Love is not just something that happens between people. It is something you practice — inside, first. And if that foundation isn’t there, no amount of love from the outside will ever feel like quite enough.
How to Build Love in Your Life is a six-class online self love course grounded in the conviction that love begins with you. Not in a self-absorbed way. In the way that a house needs a foundation before it can shelter anyone. In the way that you cannot truly offer what you have never allowed yourself to receive.
Each class is ninety minutes. Each one builds on the last.
Love begins with how you speak to yourself. In this foundational lesson of our How To Love Yourself Course, you'll learn to replace self-criticism with genuine kindness and self-compassion: genuine kindness. Using the Self-Compassion Break — a practice grounded in Dr. Kristin Neff’s research — you’ll discover what it feels like to treat yourself with the same warmth you’d offer someone you love.
One of the most isolating beliefs we carry is the idea that we are uniquely broken. We’re not. In this class, you’ll explore the concept of common humanity — the recognition that struggle, imperfection, and longing are universal. When we stop believing our pain makes us different, we become capable of something remarkable: real connection.
You cannot feel love you aren’t present for. This class introduces a practice of mindful awareness specifically designed to open your capacity to give and receive love — fully, in the body, without armor. Through the Heart Anchor Meditation and a Loving-Kindness Ripple practice, you’ll learn to stay with what is good long enough for it to matter.
You don’t earn worthiness. You remember it. This lesson helps you learn how to self love by letting go of the belief that your value must be earned. And yet most of us have spent years — decades — believing we need to do more, be more, prove more before we deserve to be loved. In this class, you’ll trace where those beliefs came from, quiet the inner critic that keeps them alive, and begin building a daily practice rooted in the simple truth that you have always been enough.
Joy is not a personality trait. It is a practice — one that most of us have never been explicitly taught. In this class, you’ll take an honest inventory of what genuinely brings you alive, identify the personal barriers that keep you rushing past your own happiness, and build a sustainable joy practice grounded in the neuroscience of savoring. Because love and joy are not separate things. They travel together.
The final class is a homecoming that helps you integrate the skills needed to learn to love yourself and create a stronger relationship with yourself and others. You’ll revisit self-compassion, common humanity, and mindfulness — not as concepts, but as lived experiences — and integrate them into a clear, personal vision for how you want love to move through your life from here. This is where everything you’ve practiced becomes the foundation you carry forward.
You give love freely but struggle to receive it. You want to learn how to love yourself, build greater self-worth, and create healthier connections in every area of your life. You feel vaguely unworthy without quite knowing why. You want more joy, more connection, more softness in your daily life — and you’re ready to stop waiting for those things to show up on their own. Or you simply believe, somewhere deep down, that more love is possible for you — and you’re finally ready to find out if that’s true.
